Dr. Rory O’Bryen is a Senior Lecturer in Latin American Literature and Culture at the Department of Spanish and Portuguese and the Centre for Latin American Studies, University of Cambridge.

 

Dr. O’Bryen’s teaches and researches on Modern Latin American Culture. We are thrilled to learn from his expertise and fascination for Colombian culture and history.  His address will be crucial to highlighting the role research in social sciences, arts and humanities plays in the social, economic and environmental transformation of Colombia.

Researchers and SDG Speed Dating

This dynamic activity is designed to facilitate networking among participants from different backgrounds. Delegates will pair for a short period to introduce their research or interests, and to discuss the relevance of their activities in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals and the Colombia scenario.

 

We hope each participant interacts with at least 10 other attendants, and that these interactions lead to novel interdisciplinary collaborations and unexpected breakthroughs.
